Seven Favorite Chicago Places

Favorite Five Chicago Places (1)
It’s tourism season in Chicago. The city is bustling with people from many different parts of the world. There are people from Europe, Asia, South America and many other countries all here to visit the Second City and to see what it has to offer.
More tourists mean that they are all looking for some place to visit and dine while visiting our beautiful city. I decided to share seven of my favorite places to dine in Chicago.

1. Lucky’s Sandwich Company
Lakeview, Chicago
Rated: 5/5
If you go I highly recommend the bacon cheeseburger! Make sure to put your fries directly onto the sandwich but if you don’t want coleslaw and tomatoes on it then ask for them on the side.

What’s also great about it is that the burger doesn’t have a bun but two slices of toast, I believe Sour Dough, which I enjoy a lot more.

2. 63 Bar and Grill
Edgewater, Chicago
Rated: 4.5/5

I love their BACON CHEESE FRIES! They are soo good and the main reason why I go here. I miss Hammie’s though! Their pizza is also quite good.

3. Ann Sather
Edgewater, Chicago
Rated: 5/5

I’m lucky that an Ann Sathers opened up a few blocks from me last year. The Hostess there knows us by name. My favorite thing to get there is either the biscuits and gravy or a build it yourself an omelet.

4. The Bristol
Bucktown, Chicago
Rated: 5/5

I ended up ordering the Chicken ‘N A Biscuit—I’m a southerner I kinda had to get it. The description says it comes with sausage gravy and bread & butter pickles. I didn’t see any sausage or taste it in the gravy but the pickle combo was AMAZING!

5. Patsy’s Pub and Grill
Lakeview, Chicago
Rated 5/5

I’ve been on a manhunt for the best Biscuits N’ Gravy in Chicago. I have to say that Patsy’s is the clear winner. They only serve brunch on Saturdays and Sundays and offer Mimosas (champagne or beer) and Bloody Mary’s.

6. SIP Bar
Uptown, Chicago
Rated: 5/5

My friends and I come here for brunch on Sundays. It is the best choice I have ever made. Their bottomless mimosas are the best! My favorite dishes so far are the All-American and the Chicken and Waffles!

This is definitely the go to place for brunch!

7. Ellipsis Coffeehouse
Edgewater, Chicago
Rated: 5/5

I absolutely love this place! It’s located on the corner of Devon Ave and Lakewood Ave, and I go there whenever I need peace and quiet to get work done. It can get sorta crowded though so either go early in the day or later.

Need a refill? No problem, there’s a small fee but worth it. Try their mochas!

The only downfall is that they close at 7PM. 🙁
