Originally from the Shandong Province of China, Haili Li has made a name for herself in the past six years she’s lived in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Not only is she a beloved member of the community, but she owns and runs Hi-Licious Street Kitchen, the only food truck in Lake Charles with authentic Asian food.

I sat down with Li at Starbucks the other day and asked her a few questions about her and her food truck.

The Fatal Crash on Brubaker Bridge

The Fatal Crash is the horrible story\ Legend about a fatal car accident that supposedly occurred on Brubaker Bridge in Ohio and the paranormal events that followed. I learned of this legend from a Facebook group that I’m a part of and have done the research on the topic.

According to legend, in the 1930s there was a terrible accident on Brubaker Bridge. five cars crashed into each other on the bridge and all the people in the vehicles were killed on impact.

Did you know that there is a 30% increase in lost pets between July 4th-July 6th? In fact, July 5th is the busiest day of the year for animal shelters nationwide. Why? More pets run away on July 4th than on any other day of the year.

A whopping 7.6 million animals are lost each year. Of those 7.6 million, only 26% of dogs are returned to their owners. Over 35% of lost pets are euthanized annually.

The Fourth of July is a scary time for our furry friends. The thundering booms, bright flashing lights, and high pitched squeals of fireworks can send the bravest of dogs running. On the Fourth of July, pets need our help and reassurance to keep our pets safe and at ease.
