The last two blog posts have been all about coffee, a new topic for this blog–although this blog is titled CoffeeColumnist. My blog is meant to be a lifestyle blog that you can read while sipping your favorited caffeinated drink and as such, I want to have a beauty category as well. Plus, I’ve always loved makeup and fashion!
Anyway, read on to find out more about NYX Liquid Suede and Tarteist Lip Paint and see the swatches of my favs!
If you live in the United States in a good sized town, you can probably find a Starbucks on every corner. In Chicago, you certainly can. And while Starbucks may speak with terms like tall, grande, and venti other coffee shops don’t. Also, a Starbucks macchiato isn’t the same as a coffee shop macchiato.

First, it got lost in transit. Then it made it to my door. I could barely contain my excitement when I saw the bright metallic pink package sitting in my mailbox. I had been severely stressed out lately and this was one thing I had for me.

Fall is just around the corner and with it comes what I like to call the layering effect. Some people may call my fashion sense as “hipster.” I call it 90s grunge. I grew up on Nirvana and grunge music. To me, grunge fashion is timeless and not to mention cheap since it mostly consists of band tees and you can buy these at Target in the men’s section for like $10.00-$12.00.
In fact, I buy most of my t-shirts in the men’s section of Target and then cut them to make them more feminine. I’ll do a post about Grunge DIY another day.
