Brunch at DryHop Brewers

Two weeks ago I went to brunch with my brunch buddy Kara, at DryHop Brewers off of Belmont Ave. We had a blast! We didn’t feel rushed at all and ended up spending 2 hours there, we each got a beer flight, eating and taste testing the beers.

The beer flight was only $15 for six 8oz beers. My favorite beer was the Mondo Generator (the dark one in the photo) followed by Elektra.

The Mondo Generator is a traditional German “double” bock that is clean and crisp with mild roast and chocolate in the finish.

Elektra is built on a strong malt backbone with a crisp clean finish.

DryHop doesn’t just have beer, they also do mimosas as well—although I don’t think they’re bottomless.

The food was delicious I got Hank’s Plate which came with two eggs your way, three strips of the most delicious and crispy bacon that melted in your mouth, a biscuit with yummy gravy and some fantastic potatoes.

HANK’S PLATE: Two Eggs, Choice of One Meat*, Crushed Breakfast Potatoes, Buttermilk Biscuit with Sausage Gravy *Three Slices of Bacon / Breakfast Sausage

The bacon was absolutely to die for! The bacon here is only second to the bacon at Bakin’ and Eggs! YUM! 🙂

The overall dining experience was fantastic. Our sever was friendly, fun and most importantly did not rush us to finish eating or enjoying our beer flight.

If you’re looking for a place to enjoy a good brunch and take a break from the busyness of your life with friends, I’d recommend that you try DryHop Brewers.

You won’t regret it in my book.
